We have 3 scheduled Spring Workdays. They each run from 8:00 AM to about 2:00 PM.
May 19th: This day is the picking and racking up the winter mess. Plus opening up the buildings and accessing the winter damage making a list of what needs to be done before camp. Maybe a little cleaning too.
June 9th: This day for cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, game set up, and start taking care of the projects that need attention before camp.
June 23rd: This day is for the last minute cleaning and project completion because camp starts soon!
Every Saturday between camp we need to clean camp from one end to the other. Friday night the staff leaves. We need to clean, order the last minute supplies for the next week, answer the phone, fix anything that broke & be ready for the new staff to arrive Sunday afternoon We could use four or five people to come by and help clean.
Saturday’s (7/9/16, 7/16/16, 7/23/16, 7/30/16, 8/6/16) 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Saving the best for last. Come for the whole week of camp. It takes about 22 volunteers to run a week of camp. We need Bible Teachers, Counselors, Cooks, Maintenance, Skill leaders, Life Guards, Dish Washers, Janitors, Maine State licensed “Camp Nurse” (Physician, Physician Assistant, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Emergency Medical Technician, A person holding a Wilderness First Responder Certificate, An athletic trainer certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC), with the appropriate level of training provided by the National Safety Council, or an equivalent certification approved by the Department.)
